These Terms govern your use of the Imbas website, archive, Field Notes, methodology pages, and related materials.
Informational and research purpose
Imbas publishes observed AI behavior, methodology notes, archive records, and related commentary for informational and research purposes.
No professional advice
Imbas content is not legal, financial, investment, medical, compliance, technical, security, or other professional advice. You are responsible for your own interpretation and decisions.
AI output analysis limitation
Imbas records observed AI behavior under documented prompt conditions. AI outputs vary by model, date, prompt wording, session state, and context. Findings may change as models, methods, and evidence change.
No warranties
The site and materials are provided “as is” and “as available.” Imbas does not guarantee completeness, accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
User responsibility
You decide how to interpret and use Imbas materials. Imbas raises signals and preserves records; it does not decide what is true for you.
Intellectual property
The Imbas name, site design, copy, methodology, archive structure, graphics, and original materials are owned by Imbas unless otherwise stated. You may quote brief excerpts with attribution and a link back to the source. Scraping, republishing, or commercial reuse without permission is not allowed.
Acceptable use
You may not:
- Interfere with the site or its operation.
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data.
- Scrape or bulk-copy content without permission.
- Misuse forms or email systems.
- Submit malicious code or harmful content.
- Use the site unlawfully.
Third-party links and services
The site may link to external sources, tools, or third-party websites. Imbas is not responsible for third-party sites, services, or policies.
Field Notes and email
Subscribing to Field Notes or other Imbas updates means you agree to receive emails from Imbas. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Workbench and Reader inspections
The Workbench lets you paste AI answers for Reader inspection. Workbench inspections are not automatically published to the reviewed archive. Reader outputs describe observed answer behavior; they are signals, not verdicts. They are not legal, medical, financial, investment, or other professional advice. Factual claims in any output should be independently verified before citation or reliance.
Do not submit sensitive personal, confidential, privileged, regulated, or proprietary information unless you are comfortable with the processing and sharing described in the Privacy Policy.
Unlisted share links
If you create a share link from a Workbench inspection, Imbas creates an unlisted record that anyone with the link can view. Share links are not private. Unlisted Workbench inspections are not reviewed archive cases.
Archive records
Published archive cases document observed answer behavior under stated prompt conditions. They are reviewed public-interest records, not legal findings, regulatory determinations, or claims about model intent. Verify factual claims independently before citation or reliance.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Imbas is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or other damages arising from use of the site or reliance on its materials.
Indemnity
You agree not to misuse the site. You may be responsible for claims arising from misuse, unlawful use, or violation of these Terms.
Changes to these Terms
Imbas may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after updates means acceptance of the revised Terms. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are made.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
